& AFTER SCHOOL DRILL (3-4.45pm)
Attire: boots, white socks, beret, hairnet, yellow tee, white skirt
Note: Fall in parade positions (Squad 1 near canteen, squad 2 near trophies)
those that have 3rd lang dont have to go for the after school drill, but inform
your i/c(Rachel/meiting)

THURSDAY(22/2)-
THINKING DAY! Report to school in full u (beret, white socks& shoes).
Change back to Hongzi (with ny socks) by first recess.
LUNCH DRILL-
Attire: boots, white socks, beret, hairnet, hongzi
& AFTER SCHOOL DRILL-
Attire: boots, white socks, beret, hairnet, PE tee and white skirt

FRIDAY(23/2)- REACH SCHOOL BY 6.30AM WITH FULL U AND EVERYTHING!

Change by first recess!
After school have pageant practice! Wear hongzi.

SATURDAY(24/2)- MEET AT 9.30AM AT KALLANG MRT STATION!
Attire: FULL U with plaits, white socks and white shoes, no beret/hairnet.
(people with short hair don’t need to do anything to their hair!)

Congratulations Sec 2s! We sold all our cookies and the people bought them willingly. lala not like the Sec 4s who were trying to persuade people to buy their cornflakes even after school. hehe. haha. hoho.

Let's give our ICs and round of applause. (claps) But, sorry Marsha, I spent $2 on the seniors stuff so I can't treat you to chawanmushi. but you can be gald that we achieved the profit goal of $200. Yay!

Hah. That's one thing striked off our busy guide list, and Marsha and Lingxin can rest now. But, not for me and Claire. so sad. We still have pageant. the wonderful wonderful pageant. :) and the seniors and juniors are going to be watching us. We shall make all of them proud of us, right? so, when you get bored, try to recall the steps. We can't have practise sessions until next Friday. So we must jia you by ourselves and NOT forget the steps. If not, maybe Claire will personally kill you (joking). hehe.

So people jia you! Maybe we can meet on Thurs lunch to prepare for footdrill that afternoon. It's only a suggestion.

anyways (: footdrill has been tough, but enjoyable i think? as in, our footdrill is generally not too bad, bangs and co-ordination is improving... but im sure everyone felt something tingling inside when we all witnessed the st. johns people doing their footdrill??? i felt a thing or two tingle oh wells. so impressed la, their bangs (BANG rather. it was a SINGLE bang.), their solid, loud, crisp bang, their uber audible timing, their co-ordination, marching, hentak-ing, and everything la! seriously ah, why they like not tired one. i mean, i'll die if i had to keep those standards through the entire session! pei fu pei fu.

STILL, we have to try our best and not slacken during footdrill yes. though we might not be as good as np or sj, we still have to improve and try to bring up our standards!!! yea, when we see other schools the guides doing their footdrill, we get so critical and all that. but we'll have to look at OURSELVES, and see if we are worthy to criticise them. yea?

c'mon, let's make our fcs proud of us. they're having a hard time and i bet they're feeling uber stressed now la. in front of the entire school, our seniors, our classmates, our guides juniors, other UG people... EVERYONE.

and it's only 13 days away.

that's less than 2 weeks.

and we'll have to show the world what nygg's got.

besides parade, there's something even more major. our pageant. and THAT is in front of Singapore???? yes it is. for that entire 3 mins (which equals to 180 seconds), eyes are focused on YOU. YOU. YOU. know what that means? it means that every one has to try her best, put in her 100%.

come on, do a good job and we might even go on the news and show all the uncle, auntie, ah gong, ah mah! that is, IF we do a good job.

i think we need to focus more and put in more during our practices. right now, i just have a feeling that we arent really trying our best. it's just so mundane and routine that we are immune to improving already. c'mon peeps, we HAVE to keep telling ourselves. we cant slacken and retreat for the worst. we have to be serious during each and every practice. we have to try our best and remind ourselves that the time is tight and precious. miss teng and our sec 3 snrs are already trying so hard. we have to. we have to. come on. AJA!

Hello fellow Guides.

This is getting bad. I am not supposed to wate time on the computer and now, as a result I am having a headache and a running nose. This is BAD! But it is not the point for this email. :)

Your very nice IC is going to infom you about pageant stuff again. :(

There is no rehearsal next week

there is rehearsal on the 23rd of Feb (parade day) from 3-4pm as there is no CCA on that day.

Then, we will go home and air our uniform. :)

And early in the morning, we shall meet at Kallang Stadium at 9:20am in your full uniform, no hat, white socks 4 fingers above ankle (don't want to catch anyone's socks lower!) and white shoes. :)

And we will all set off together to the Singapore Indoor Stadium, where we can have a last practise. :)

This blog and the tagboard seem dead. Please come and see the blog frequently and tag!!! Anyway, This is an announcement that I made after lunch drill today, but becuase some of you might not have heard it. I will go down the classes again tomorrow. (sigh)

On Thursday, There is NO lunch drill, I repeat, NO lunch drill. But, all the sec 2s should try their best to stay back on Thursday until 4:30pm to practise for the pageant! The attire is PE attire and you would not need to bring boots/ hat (it is not a beret but a guide hat)/ white socks or anything like that. :)
