YO YO YO!!!!!
EOYs stress getting to you? Find yourself tearing your hair out at every turn? See a monster with panda eyes staring back at you in the mirror? Never fear! In this issue of S.U.A.T (Surviving Unusual Adversities- Tips!), we show YOU how to chill out like you've never chilled out before!!!!
Tip #1: Zen fashionably with Nature. Get in touch with your inner Zen master while keeping a celeb-cool pose at the same time. Directions: Find a window with a nice view, drag a comfy chair next to it and then sit down and start to sleep. Remember to cross your arms and lower your head. For optimum visual appeal, choose a room with dim lighting. the natural light from the window will shine down upon you and bring out that "i-always-look-good-no-matter-what-i-do" feeling. Tip #2: Best buds for life! Buddy up with a buddy and have a buddyin' good time! Directions: Find a buddy and (what else) buddy up together! Of course, ensure that your buddy actually WANTS to buddy with you, if not the two of you will make a very... imbalanced picture.
Tip #3: Head-to-knee talk. Perfect for whenever your head wishes to connect with your knees. Improves general relationship between upper and lower body. Directions: Find a good chair, bring your knees up to chest, and then bury your head in them. For added security, wrap arms around knees. Our friendly police force would like to add that while doing this activity, all personal items should be kept securely, and reinforce their point about low crime not equating to no crime. We'd also like to add that it is unwise to do this in public, as you will bear striking resemblance to an emo little kid.
Tip #4: the good ol' Slump. Can be done anywhere, anytime. Provided you have good support. Directions: Find a table and a chair. Sit down in the chair, cross your arms on the table, and rest your forehead upon your arms. You may have to experiment a few times before you find the most ocmfortable degree at which to slump. It is recommended that you do not slump amidst crockery, if not you will resemble a homeless hobo instead of a merely tired soul.
Tip #5: Bowl Buddies! Satisfy your hunger for food and friendship at the same time! Directions: Get a bowl of dessert and a buddy. Sit down opposite each other, place the bowl between and equip yourselves with spoons each. Then, start taking turns to eat from the bowl. The duration depends on how much stress you need to get rid of. We suggest an iced dessert to douse your inner fire, especially if you're a hormonally-imbalanced teen fighting to survive through the EOYs. The dessert is best enjoyed when coupled together with looks of bliss and appreciation. Tip #6: Be blessed by Sia-Susu, the Genie in the Bowl. Directions: Take a trip down to the kopitiam at Central. You will find the Genie in a random corner. The genie is generally kind and friendly, however you might wish to consider bringing along offerings of tempura or a drink. There is after all, no free lunch in the world.
The six tips we have provided above may not work for everyone. We encourage readers to find out their own ways of de-stressing. To contribute your own tips, email them to blooper@bloop.conn or dial 1900-BLO-OOOP.
