hello people anw just a random post cos i'm feeling bored.
oh btw i filled up the sweets container in the guide room already, FEEL FREE TO TAKE ONE!!!! KEEP YOUR GLUCOSE CONCENTRATION HIGH HIGH SO THAT WE CAN ALL HAVE ENERGY TO FACE NEW CHALLENGES! YAY!!
now it sounds like an aeroplane's attacking jurong. lol and a while ago the smell of durian wafted in from my window. i dunno where's it from though.
lol and if our entire batch happens to like durian we can have a durian feast! bring all the d24 and red durian and XO durian etc etc... :D durian fest!
oh and in future, if you all need to pick twigs, just cross over the bridge to hci side and walk towards coro. the ground along the way has bountiful punk and an abundance of twigs. of course, u might meet rude ppl who don't know it's impolite to stare.
lol and this seemingly nice foreign guy on his bike asked us what we're doing. apparently, from where he comes from (i dunno where), it's quite normal, but in singapore it's a rare sighting.
and the punk is so plentiful that u can put ur plastic bag on the ground and just kick all the leaves in (yes it's that plentiful). the whole ground's blanketed in the stuff. and the twigs are just lying in branches, i repeat myself, BRANCHES around the area. u target a few branches and start breaking them and u've got one bag le. man, i love singapore's tree-planters.
and me and wannqin came up with an advertisement regarding punk and potato chips!!! it only applies to guides though.

Guide 1+2: nei4 ge4... (insert name of potato chip brand)!!!! (That (insert name of potato chip brand)!!!!)
Guide 1: Na4 zhong3 cui4 cui4 de4 gan3 jue2... (that crisp feeling...) (crushes more punk with relish)
Guide 2: Na4 zhong3 te4 bie3 de4 xiang1 wei4... (that special aroma...) (throws crushed punk into the air happily and takes in deep breath)
Guide 1+2: Jiu4 shi4 ta1 le4!!! (That's it!!!) (holds up packet of potato chips and grin.)

Hello batchmates!
I was talking to a Sec 2 junior (from my PSL class last year), and she’s from SJAB. As she was sharing her experiences in CCA with her seniors, I suddenly feel that we are actually very lucky to have such nice seniors, who scold us, but explain what we have done wrong so we can improve. Love is patient, love is kind. I believe we can do it, and be nice loving seniors to our juniors, to let them understand their mistakes, and improve as a company. We don’t have to scold to obtain discipline right? I would rather the juniors treat us as big sisters, rather than fear us… It would definitely be more worth it to have everyone enjoy CCA rather than going all out to win unit awards but no one loving NYGG at all. D:
Haha… You can just ignore me :D
Jia You! Make NYGG a big loving family, where we all have a passion for Girl Guiding!!! :D
(And where no one goes crazy because she gets scolded every CCA session without rhyme or reason, but goes crazy over guides! :D)

"Footdrill today :] we are already less than a month away from parade!
today was okay, and after commanding the sec 4s, i'm really proud of them at times, when the bang sounds really really (close to) perfect. That smart, uniform bang is very pleasant to listen to, haha! Of course, we can still improve in many other ways, as not all bangs sound as smart as the perfect ones, arm coord, 90 degrees... still, the standard is improving, and i hope that it'll be better the next time! I'm happy to be commanding the sec 4s, cos during debrief, we say our opinions more freely and now I know how they feel! haven't been part of a squad for a long time... i don't want to lose the feeling of being a squad member!!"
