HEYYYY!
hope that all of ur enjoyed the camp eh.
but we all really must buck up on our footdrill kae!
our standard cannot go down.... in fact it must not go down at all.
must JIAYOUJIAYOU..
cos we think the seniors
quitevery disappointed in us eh...
and next year we're gonna take over le,
so SEC2 batch, must JIAYOU ahhh.
or else guides activities shouldnt be those axemanship, footdrill, pioneering and all, it might as well be makeup and crafts.
sorry if i sounded evil.
but the seniors are really disappointed.
SORRY:\
and i feel that all of us should know and improve on it lah.
we're not gonna be a bunch of softies in a nice and warm greenhouse, we're gonna be tough like weeds! but muchmuchmuchmuch more useful than them. and we're not gonna be the worst batch in nygg ever. we'll either be the best or one of the best. we can do it ppl!
and here's roughly the content of wat a senior wrote in her blog. it's rephrased by us to give her some privacy.
for footdrill-- the footdrill shld get much much better, and colours pissed her off aLOT. and for thinking day parade last yr, us running off from quadrangle was absolutely ridiculous.
in general for camp-- it's like we can't take any hardships, and must bathe absolutely clean, and had so sense of urgency whatsoever, must hv beauty sleep, didn't greet snrs and basically had no respect for them.
In general for guides-- we're getting softer and softer and not at all tough. and we may just waste all the efforts of all our seniors, like footdrill notes, which she thinks we didn't really use. and it's like we can't do outdoor activities, no strength, too gentle, can only do indoor stuff like makeup and crafts and are absolutely hopeless at outdoor stuff like footdrill turfing, firelighting, axemanship, sawing, marching, etc.
come on people!!! we're not supposed to be like that!!! this cca was either chosen by ourselves or chosen by our parents, and we reluctantly joined it. but either way, we're in this cca already, so why not try to be the best we can be in it? i'm not saying tt we shld be passionate in everything we do in guiding. actually we shld be but some things can't be forced. but even if we don't like certain things in guides, we shld still accept it. a guide stays cheerful no matter what difficulties come. i dun rmb the exact words of this law, but tt's roughly the content. anw, let's perfect ourselves and not let the seniors feel like nygg is doomed! we're not gu-niangs, we're nanyang guides. NANYANG GUIDES
SOLID!!!!
