okay this is a post about saturday's pga training. the main point is THE NEW SAWS.
ohmygod you'll really have to use them to know how it feels. we were sawing spars and okay the spars were smoother and didn't give us splinters, but seriously, new saws make a HUGE difference. we jst had to make a mark, and then start sawing up and down immediately. don't have to keep running the saw backwards, don't have to wrestle with the saw and wood, don't have to wrench stuck saws out of the wood, don't have to use that much strength, and don't have to use that much time either. smooth and sweet. oh god... the wonders of brand new saws. it's like driving an old beat-up car that groans and moans in pain each time you start the ignition, and then suddenly switching to some sports car which just revs up to like, i dunno a few hundred km/h in a few seconds.
lol and rayna and amanda couldn't control themselves too. seriously, sawing with brand-new saws is such bliss. rayna was coveting the saws hungrily. hahaha. omg i hope she doesn't see this.
okay anw, for pga-ers who missed it, u seriously didn't miss much, except for the experience of using brand new saws.
and acs(i) gangshow was quite high at first, then later a bit dry. mainly cos of the audience la. lol the barker scouts were... totally zi-highing but tt's not the main point. the main point is, their skit (esp act 2) was super funny. this boy who looked indian was playing a doctor, and his accent was super funny. and the way he has spasms is so real!!!! lol he's just a natural comedian la.
and the breakdancing was quite good too. breakdancing can't be described u'll hv to watch it for yourself. but it's the best dance item out of the whole performance.
and i'm quite jealous of acs ppl. the place where they camp is so beautiful!!! it's this little clearing in the middle of a garden in the middle of the school!!!! it's so scenic!!!! and where do we camp? sigh....
ok shall stop grousing. LTC'09 tmr!!! actually i think the jnrs quite good. ok at least they managed to rush the whole thing out even after such short notice. and i seriously hope we get to do sentry duty!!!!
